Reasons for extraction of teeth in COVID corona pandemic: a retrospective study

Background: Aim and objectives were to evaluate the various reasons for extraction of teeth during corona pandemic time. Methods: A total 769 patients selected study which included 376 males 393 females. The those who had reported department oral maxillofacial surgery, college dental science hospital, Rau, Indore, India COVID time period 15 months from April 2020 June 2021. Extraction procedure was done all these patients, taking into consideration patient's age, gender, type reason extraction. Results: 906 extracted in patients. Females outnumbered both number extracted. Dental caries main teeth, followed by periodontitis, impacted orthodontic purposes, malposed, supernumerary others. Conclusions: periodontitis two Corona times.
